WE LOVE THIS GAME

TOP 4 FINALLY CHANGES
HOT SPURS REALLY HOT
Redknapp has taken them from relegation into the top 4..

Spurs’ resurgence under the stewardship of their cockney manager has been astronomical. In a matter of 555 days, the former West Ham United winger has turned the club’s fortunes totally on their head, steering them from the clutches of relegation to what will be their highest league finish in 10 years.

1. Strength :
Under Redknapp, Spurs have developed the kind of mental and physical strength that the club’s fans have needed over the past decade to survive. Signings such as Wilson Palacios, captured from Wigan Athletic in January 2009, has resolved a dysfunctional midfield. Despite undoubted attacking qualities, Spurs’ core has finally received the injection of steel and endurance that it has craved for years.
Mentally, Redknapp’s Tottenham can now lock horns with English football’s elite. Recent victories against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, along with the home win against Liverpool on the opening day of the season, are testament to the confidence and resolve Redknapp has brought to White Hart Lane.

2. Solidity :
Spurs have only conceded 12 goals at home this season, one of the meanest defensive records in the league, matched only by Manchester United. Players such as Michael Dawson and Heurelho Gomes, questioned by many prior to Redknapp’s arrival, have become pinnacle performers, the very columns of strength at White Hart Lane, and arguably much of the club’s success this season rests at their feet.

Ledley King, despite his famous injury dilemmas, has been used effectively by Redknapp, and Spurs are reaping the rewards. Under Juande Ramos, the club captain was spared all league responsibilities, earning token call-ups for European matches only.Immediately upon arrival at White Hart Lane, Redknapp locked-away King’s passport, and handed him his bus pass, and his performances this season, and in the last three games in particular, have seen the once career-threatened defender playing some of the best football of his life.

3. Threat :
Always renowned for their attacking football, Redknapp has turned Spurs into a goal machine all over the park. With 19 different goalscorers so far this season, Tottenham can boast the most prolific striking squad in the league; emphasised by their 9-1 drubbing of Wigan in November.
This in itself is one of the most noticeable changes since Redknapp’s arrival. You only need to look back to the start of the 2008-09 season, when after losing deadly duo Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane to Manchester United and Liverpool, respectively, Spurs embarked on their worst ever start to a league campaign.79 weeks on, Spurs can challenge with international strikers on the bench, and Keane off on loan at Celtic.

4. Hunger :
Too often over recent seasons, Spurs have shipped-out players who have gone on to deliver admirably for other teams whilst the side has suffered in their absence.Peripheral players such as Pedro Mendes, Steed Malbranque and Frederic Kanoute have been discarded all too easily, with the club later acquiring replacements of lower quality, for higher prices – Didier Zokora comes to mind.Redknapp has juiced the likes of Gareth Bale, David Bentley, Tom Huddlestone and Roman Pavlyuchenko of the lethargic trait which used to marinade the reserve ranks at White Hart Lane, prepping them to deliver some of the best football Spurs fans have seen in recent years. Huddlestone in particular has been a revelation in midfield, whilst the New Year performances of Bale (who won the Barclays Player of the Month for April) and Pavlyuchenko have been instrumental to the club's end of season run.
The inclusion of former Lane favourites amongst the club’s backroom staff has also been of massive significance to the increased hunger at Spurs. Heroes such as Clive Allen, already a part of the coaching set-up when Redknapp arrived, have been given increased involvement in first-team affairs, whilst Tony Parks, Spurs’ penalty-saving hero in the 1984 UEFA Cup final, has been appointed as the club’s goalkeeping coach – and the subsequent improvement in Gomes is unquestionable.

5. Consistency :
From the consistently inconsistent, to a squad of commanding deliverers, Redknapp’s Spurs have shown that they can not only punch above their weight, but maintain those levels as well.Tottenham have only suffered back-to-back defeats once in the Premier League this season, when in September, Redknapp’s men were downed 3-1 at Manchester United (one of three home defeats), and 3-0 away to Chelsea.
Beyond their league exploits, the Redknapp factor has infiltrated domestic cup competitions also. Since winning the League Cup in 2008, Spurs have reached Wembley on three occasions during his tenure already, including two finals (League Cup), and this season's FA Cup semi-final against Portsmouth.Without question, there is still work to be done at White Hart Lane; Spurs are by no means the finished article. Nonetheless, Redknapp may well prove the man to complete the job.

OUT OF ALL WHO WILL FORGET THAT 9 GOAL WIN AGAINST WIGAN ???

All over this season the fight for the 4 th spot was more interesting than the fight for the title..because city spent a lot and looked so dangerous while spurs were having some stunning skilled players..pool and villa looked threatening but were unable to match these two..and finally on the Wednesday 4 th place battle the 6.7 foot crouch scored at 82 to take them to CL glory..poor city all though spending more were unable to cruise to the top 4..This beautiful game has now entered the final day and we are yet to know the TOP 4..YES..CHELSEA VS WIGAN,UNITED VS STOKE,ARSENAL VS FULHAM AND BURNLEY VS TOTTENHAM, these matches will tell us the top 4..Chelsea win, title is theirs,Chelsea lose, united win, title is uniteds..Like wise a draw is enough for arsenal to finish third, while spurs will have to win and arsenal have to lose for them to escape from playing play offs..

This Sunday night by 10 pm we all will come to know the answer for this great season on who are the champions of England etc..

See u ..
