NEW SEASON-NEW KIT

The new Manchester United home kit for the 2010/11 season combines elements of the club’s history with new age technology – as every shirt will be made entirely from recycled polyester, each created from up to eight plastic water bottles as part of Nike’s 'Considered Design' programme.

Red, white and black is in the DNA of Manchester United and Nike has captured the spirit of the club through this season’s home kit. The new shirt leans towards a classic look, inspired by the 1970s, and features a collar for the first time since Nike became the team’s official kit supplier in 2002. And the chevron design that featured last season is evident in the engineered mesh pattern on the back of the shirt, with the V-shape echoed in the shoulder print detail and in the socks.

Aon, the new shirt sponsor, features on the front of the shirt, while inside the shirt on the back of the club crest is the club's mantra, "Believe". The message sits right next to the heart, revealing every United fan's 'Inner Pride', while the symbolic Red Devil sits on the sleeve of the shirt and the shorts to add the finishing touches to the kit.

Reds winger Nani said: "I think it looks really good and it feels nice. It’s always a nice moment for the players and the fans when you first see the new kit and it’s like a new motivation for us at the start of the season."

EPL - 2010-2011 MAN UNITED FIXTURES

IF you believe in omens then it's good news - the Reds have twice started campaigns against the Magpies in the Premier League era, in 2000/01 (won 2-0), and 2008/09 (1-1), and on both occasions have gone on to win the title.
There are the usual tricky patches, of course, with back-to-back clashes against Arsenal and Chelsea twice - in December (11, 18) and in the run-in (30 April, 7 May).
The last ten fixtures of the campaign look like producing plenty of fireworks with away trips to Anfield, Upton Park, St James' Park, the Emirates Stadium and Ewood Park, with home games against Everton and Chelsea thrown in too.

WE LOVE THIS GAME

TOP 4 FINALLY CHANGES
HOT SPURS REALLY HOT
Redknapp has taken them from relegation into the top 4..

Spurs’ resurgence under the stewardship of their cockney manager has been astronomical. In a matter of 555 days, the former West Ham United winger has turned the club’s fortunes totally on their head, steering them from the clutches of relegation to what will be their highest league finish in 10 years.

1. Strength :
Under Redknapp, Spurs have developed the kind of mental and physical strength that the club’s fans have needed over the past decade to survive. Signings such as Wilson Palacios, captured from Wigan Athletic in January 2009, has resolved a dysfunctional midfield. Despite undoubted attacking qualities, Spurs’ core has finally received the injection of steel and endurance that it has craved for years.
Mentally, Redknapp’s Tottenham can now lock horns with English football’s elite. Recent victories against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, along with the home win against Liverpool on the opening day of the season, are testament to the confidence and resolve Redknapp has brought to White Hart Lane.

2. Solidity :
Spurs have only conceded 12 goals at home this season, one of the meanest defensive records in the league, matched only by Manchester United. Players such as Michael Dawson and Heurelho Gomes, questioned by many prior to Redknapp’s arrival, have become pinnacle performers, the very columns of strength at White Hart Lane, and arguably much of the club’s success this season rests at their feet.

Ledley King, despite his famous injury dilemmas, has been used effectively by Redknapp, and Spurs are reaping the rewards. Under Juande Ramos, the club captain was spared all league responsibilities, earning token call-ups for European matches only.Immediately upon arrival at White Hart Lane, Redknapp locked-away King’s passport, and handed him his bus pass, and his performances this season, and in the last three games in particular, have seen the once career-threatened defender playing some of the best football of his life.

3. Threat :
Always renowned for their attacking football, Redknapp has turned Spurs into a goal machine all over the park. With 19 different goalscorers so far this season, Tottenham can boast the most prolific striking squad in the league; emphasised by their 9-1 drubbing of Wigan in November.
This in itself is one of the most noticeable changes since Redknapp’s arrival. You only need to look back to the start of the 2008-09 season, when after losing deadly duo Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane to Manchester United and Liverpool, respectively, Spurs embarked on their worst ever start to a league campaign.79 weeks on, Spurs can challenge with international strikers on the bench, and Keane off on loan at Celtic.

4. Hunger :
Too often over recent seasons, Spurs have shipped-out players who have gone on to deliver admirably for other teams whilst the side has suffered in their absence.Peripheral players such as Pedro Mendes, Steed Malbranque and Frederic Kanoute have been discarded all too easily, with the club later acquiring replacements of lower quality, for higher prices – Didier Zokora comes to mind.Redknapp has juiced the likes of Gareth Bale, David Bentley, Tom Huddlestone and Roman Pavlyuchenko of the lethargic trait which used to marinade the reserve ranks at White Hart Lane, prepping them to deliver some of the best football Spurs fans have seen in recent years. Huddlestone in particular has been a revelation in midfield, whilst the New Year performances of Bale (who won the Barclays Player of the Month for April) and Pavlyuchenko have been instrumental to the club's end of season run.
The inclusion of former Lane favourites amongst the club’s backroom staff has also been of massive significance to the increased hunger at Spurs. Heroes such as Clive Allen, already a part of the coaching set-up when Redknapp arrived, have been given increased involvement in first-team affairs, whilst Tony Parks, Spurs’ penalty-saving hero in the 1984 UEFA Cup final, has been appointed as the club’s goalkeeping coach – and the subsequent improvement in Gomes is unquestionable.

5. Consistency :
From the consistently inconsistent, to a squad of commanding deliverers, Redknapp’s Spurs have shown that they can not only punch above their weight, but maintain those levels as well.Tottenham have only suffered back-to-back defeats once in the Premier League this season, when in September, Redknapp’s men were downed 3-1 at Manchester United (one of three home defeats), and 3-0 away to Chelsea.
Beyond their league exploits, the Redknapp factor has infiltrated domestic cup competitions also. Since winning the League Cup in 2008, Spurs have reached Wembley on three occasions during his tenure already, including two finals (League Cup), and this season's FA Cup semi-final against Portsmouth.Without question, there is still work to be done at White Hart Lane; Spurs are by no means the finished article. Nonetheless, Redknapp may well prove the man to complete the job.

OUT OF ALL WHO WILL FORGET THAT 9 GOAL WIN AGAINST WIGAN ???

All over this season the fight for the 4 th spot was more interesting than the fight for the title..because city spent a lot and looked so dangerous while spurs were having some stunning skilled players..pool and villa looked threatening but were unable to match these two..and finally on the Wednesday 4 th place battle the 6.7 foot crouch scored at 82 to take them to CL glory..poor city all though spending more were unable to cruise to the top 4..This beautiful game has now entered the final day and we are yet to know the TOP 4..YES..CHELSEA VS WIGAN,UNITED VS STOKE,ARSENAL VS FULHAM AND BURNLEY VS TOTTENHAM, these matches will tell us the top 4..Chelsea win, title is theirs,Chelsea lose, united win, title is uniteds..Like wise a draw is enough for arsenal to finish third, while spurs will have to win and arsenal have to lose for them to escape from playing play offs..

This Sunday night by 10 pm we all will come to know the answer for this great season on who are the champions of England etc..

See u ..

I thank goal.com for providing this info on spurs to which I have added my words below..

EPL-A ROUND OFF

Hi,its been long since,I blogged.
I was very busy this past last month,
So unable to post
And in this 1 month a lot a lot has happened
Yes
Top 3 of EPL knocked out of Cl :(
So they all now concentrating only on Epl.
This year Epl tilte race is 1 of the toughest ever.
Said by all pundits and my friends.
With only 3 games to go for the top 3 lets see how the table stands.

TABLE :
Chelsea leading the race with 77 points in 35 games with Gd of 54
United following closely with 76 points in 35 games with Gd of 51.
Arsenal Slightly behind with 71 points in35 games with Gd of 40.

Games to be played-opponents :
Chelsea :
Stoke in home on april 25 sunday
Liverpool in anfield on may 2 Sunday
Finally wigan at home on may 9 Sunday

United :
Spurs at Ot on april 25 Sunday
Sunderland Away on may 2 Sunday
Finally Stoke At OT on may 9 th Sunday

Arsenal :
City at home on april 24 Saturday
Blackburn away on may 3 Monday !
Finally Fulham on may 9 Sunday.

Criteria’s to become champions :
Chelsea have to do nothing but some how win all their 3 games.
If so no problem to become champs after 2005.
United must win all their 3 games and expect Chelsea to lose 1 or atleast draw 1.
Arsenal must win all 3 and also want both the above ones to lose.

Tough battles :

Chelsea have to play Liverpool in anfield which all the world is expecting to be the decider.
Because other two are easy games for Chelsea.
With drogba thinking of resting for the world cup and the owner telling their players to prove their money deal worth its now a nervous situation in their dressing room.
So if there is any loss of points it could cost them the title.

United play spurs who are on a great winning roll.
They have beaten arsenal and Chelsea in consecutive weeks and are strong.
Other two are marginal and utd will overcome it.

Arsenal play city who are a very strong contenders for the 4 th spot.
Its really a big game for both.
It may decide the title for arsenal and 4 th spot for city.

So its really a very tough work to predict the winners.
I expect utd to overcome spurs and win the title because its been played at Ot.

Also beating pool in anfield is not an easy task for Chelsea.

And arsenal will have to win all and hope utd,Chelsea lose.

EURO RACE :

While the title race is in this status the 4 th place race is even tougher.
City pool villa spurs all are fighting for it.
City and spurs are looking strong contenders as they are just 2 points clear of each other.
Arsenal vs city and united vs spurs will almost decide the 4th spot.
After some 5 years the top 4 is going to change.

RELEGATION BATTLE

As ever year this year this battle is joggling all around.

Hull with 28,burnley 27 and westham 31 are fighting against this, while ports mouth already out.

I AM BACK :

Yes this is the diagogue of most newcastlers now as they are now the champs of division 1 and also they now play EPL after 1 year.
So an exciting last 15 days of EPL action coming up.
Hope this is a compact post.

NJOY!!!!!!!!

I tried my best to bring out all in this post on current epl happenings..
I will be happy to receive your comments and also predictions of the results.

I hope you wont dissapoint me.

Chelsea get the Blues: How west Londoners keep losing to teams wearing blue:BLUE CURSE

Wearing blue they have impressed; against it they've struggled consistently

Mere coincidence, or something more problematic? Either way, this season Chelsea have had real problems in dealing with teams that play in blue, something that has already affected their season on a number of decisive occasions.

Looking at the evidence below, it is hard not to believe that the colour John Terry and co. wear at Stamford Bridge becomes some sort of kryptonite when worn by the opposing side:

How it began: Arguably the warning signs were there in pre-season, as Carlo Ancelotti's side struggled to beat Championship side Reading, who raced into a 2-0 lead at the Madejski Stadium before a Salomon Kalou strike and a late own goal ensured Chelsea avoided an embarrassing defeat, albeit in a friendly.

But the foundation had been laid, and the curse would strike next time the side played a team in blue:
Sep 26, Wigan Athletic (a), lost 3-1: After reeling off eight wins in a row to start the season, Chelsea headed for the DW Stadium full of confidence. But a fine performance from forward Hugo Rodallega — coupled with Petr Cech's sending off — consigned the Blues to a highly surprising 3-1 defeat (both Arsenal and Manchester United had already thrashed the Latics).

Oct 17, Aston Villa (a), lost 2-1: Admittedly a tenuous link, but the blue trim around Aston Villa's kit must have caused problems for Chelsea's players who, having returned to winning ways after that Wigan defeat, were brutally exposed at set-pieces with two goals from defenders Richard Dunne and James Collins.
Dec 2, (League Cup) Blackburn Rovers (a), drew 3-3 (lost 4-3 on penalties): After eight wins in nine games since that defeat at Villa Park, including a 5-0 home win against Sam Allardyce's side, Ancelotti's men headed to Ewood Park and were knocked out of the League Cup, even after Didier Drogba had been thrown on to pursue victory and Paulo Ferreira had sent the game to penalties with a last-ditch extra-time equaliser.

Dec 5, Manchester City (a), lost 2-1: After defeat by Blackburn, Chelsea headed to Eastlands for a tough game where a Carlos Tevez-inspired City scraped a 2-1 win, thanks to a good slice of luck and a late Frank Lampard penalty miss. City would later do the double over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in February.
Feb 10, Everton (a), lost 2-1: John Terry, usually so reliable as the club's captain, committed two important individual errors to allow Louis Saha in for two goals that propelled David Moyes' side to a memorable victory, and let Manchester United decisively back into the title race.

Feb 24, Inter Milan (a), lost 2-1: Diego Milito caught Chelsea cold with a third minute opener in this vital Champions League clash, before Salomon Kalou's second half equaliser got Chelsea back on level times. Then Esteban Cambiasso notched what turned out to be the winner, leaving the Blues to regret the referee's decision not to award what looked a clear-cut first-half penalty for their side.
Further evidence: Chelsea haven't lost to every team who have lined up against them in blue this season, but they have never put in a convincing performance. Other dubious results include at St. Andrew's (Dec 26), where Birmingham City were denied a victory only after some last-ditch Chelsea defending in a 0-0 draw.
Porto (Nov 26) were slightly unlucky to lose 1-0 at Estadio do Dragao in their Champions League game, a result that looks better or worse in light of Arsenal's travails depending on your opinion.
Burnley's similar kit to Aston Villa (perhaps) helped them to an impressive performance against Chelsea at Turf Moor (Jan 30), where they looked on course to grab a surprising 1-1 draw until John Terry popped up with a late winner in a game his side were expected to dominate. West Ham used the same principle to help themselves to a 1-1 draw at Upton Park in December.
Overall record: Played 10, lost six, drawn two, won two.
Taking advantage Milito wasted no time in putting Inter ahead

Still to come: Fortunately for Chelsea the rest of their Champions League campaign should not be unduly affected by opposing blue kits. Jose Mourinho's Inter will not play in blue on Tuesday night — their away strip, like Chelsea's, is predominantly white — and if the Blues progress there is no other side in the competition that feature blue prominently on their home kit.
In the league it is a different matter, however, with otherwise straightforward looking away trips later this month to Blackburn (Mar 21) and Portsmouth (Mar 24) suddenly becoming a lot harder in light of this season's problems.
Chelsea will likely have to beat both of them if they want to win the Premier League — so those would be two great games for them to finally break this 'blue kit curse'.
LET THIS BLUE CURSE CONTINUE TILL THE END OF THIS SEASON SO THAT WE CAN WIN THE TITLE..

HERE HISTORY MEANS UTD KNOCKING OUT MILAN IN UCL;WELCOME HOME BECKHAM;TATA BYE BYE MILAN

When Beckham Entered the pitch yesterday, milan were almost out of CL..

He came in at 63 mins and the score sheet read 3-0..

But still he tried hard to do something for milan which included a typical beckham volley which went straight to vds..

LINE UP :

VDS,NEVILLE,RIO,VIDIC,EVRA,FLETCHER,PARK,SCHOLES,VALENCIA,NANI,ROONEY
GOAL ; 1
As we all wanted Rooney opened the scoring at th 13 th minute itself..A fine cross by neville which came flying perfectly to Rooneys head was headed marvellously by the world's best striker to give the world's most loved club a fantastic 1-0 lead..

IT WAS 1-0 AT HALF TIME

GOAL : 2
2 mins from the start of the second half NANI countered the ball with ROONEY along side him and a fine pass to roo;s feet which was more than enough for him who just easily glided it past the sliding milan keeper..2-0 at 47..

In the 57 th minute pirlo had a good chance to score but it ..

GOAL 3 : in the 59 th minute scholes and park combined to kill milan's hopes..
it seemed scholes will go for it but he sent in a pass which went through two milan defenders to park who finished it as perfect as 1 can..

In the 75 th minute becks volley went straight to vds and that was the end of milan..

United beat milan gloriously to enter the quaters of the Cl..

Becks feels united can go on to WIN IT..

BECKS RETURN,FIT ROONEY,FAN PROTEST,NO PATO,UTD LEADING,WHATS GONNA HAPPEN TONIGHT ? A PREVIEW

The most awaited day is here..
Yes..

IS BECKS WHO IS RETURNING TO OT TO PLAY TODAY AGAINST UTD GONNA MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE ?

HERE IS A PREVIEW :

Manchester United Take on Ac Milan in the second leg of the final 16 in CL today at OT..

There are a lots of things that are going to happen today ..

I am gonna list a few here..

1.ROONEY IS FIT :)

Any red devil in this world will jump in joy after hearing this..

I did too..Around 8 pm yesterday night when i was waiting fo the start of sports center I got that sms from NIBUL WHICH RED -ROONEY FIT..

And what else you need ?

I just hugged my doggie which was sitting near me waving its tails ..

Hurrayyy..

We all know he can change a games result and i think he will take us to the next round today for sure..

2.TWINS IN ACTION :

OUR defending twins RIO AND VIDIC both are fit and they are ready to face ronaldinho today..

With united already leading in Aggregates i think these two wont allow the lead to be levelled..

3.NO BROWN :(

As these two Rio and Vidic got fit, brown suffered a injury and is out for minimum 6 weeks according to our GOD SAF..

If he would have been fit playing then it would heve been a great Defensive line..

4.BECKS RETURNS TO OT :

Many of my co-red devils still say i cant see BECKHAM playing in a different jersey than UNITED..

That much impact he has with red devils..

My fella SREE mentioned when the first leg kicked off to me that My body shivers when i see becks play against us ..

I dont know how we are going to accept Becks playing in OT but not for UTD but for the opponents ..

Till kick off becks is our old friend and inside the pitch he is our opponent..

thats it..

BECKHAM PLAYING IN OT BUT NOT FOR UNITED BUT FOR ITS OPPONENTS IN A DIFFERENT JERSEY..

CANT IMAGINE..
BUT TO BE SEEN TODAY..

Saf says he may not start since he has not till now from the first leg in their club matches..

Any way we cant be without welcoming our old hero..

WELCOME TO OT BECKS..

5.NO PATO ???

Alexandre Pato is fighting with injury.
The Brazilian is a major doubt after pulling a thigh muscle 10 days ago, but is in the squad travelling to Old Trafford.
“I don't want to be the kind of director who gives the line-up the day before, but I think Pato is unlikely to make it,” confessed Milan chief Adriano Galliani.
“In that case I think that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Marco Borriello and Ronaldinho will play.”

6.FAN PROTEST :

Around 10000 red devils who have bought their tickets for this exciting match are not going to watch the kick off of this match..

They are gonna protest agianst our owners THE GLAZERS for leading the cluib into a HUGE DEBTS..

There will be empty seats in OT which will make the whole world ask the question why ? which those fans feel will make the glazers think..

They are going to stand outside the OT with banners against the GLAZERS..

Its really tough to beat UNITED at OT..Especially with a score sheet of 3-2..

But becks and ronaldinho say its TOUGH but its not IMPOSSIBLE!!!

GOAL .COM POLL RESULTS :

Who Will Progress To The Champions League Quarter-Finals?

AC Milan-49.06%
Manchester United-50.94%

I feel we will star with this line up :

Van der Sar; Neville, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra; Valencia, Scholes, Fletcher, Park; Rooney, Berbatov.
May be nani or park can come in for scholes..

I CANT WAIT FOR THE KICK-OFF.. I TRULY CANT..

1 MORE DEFENDER ?

MANCHESTER UNITED have agreed to sign Belgian starlet Marnick Vermijl from STANDARS LIEGE,according to the player's father.

The 18-year-old has impressed both Sir Alex Ferguson and reserve team boss Ole Gunner Solskjaer whilst on trial at Old Trafford.

United have handed the wing-back a three-year contract with Standard Liege receiving around €300,000 in compensation and will move to Old Trafford in the summer.

"They said he was the best right or left-back they had seen in years," Vemijl's father Dirk told Het Laatste Nieuws.

"Ferguson told me that Marnick in the following years would become a fixture in the Manchester United squad."

WEMBLEY KILLED ROONEY

We all know who rooney is and what change he can do to the result of a game..

Now Rooney is a major doubt for us against the visiting Ac milan here to OT on wednesday..

The wembley pitch which is to be re-laid for the tenth time is not going to do anything for United as it has already caused swelling of roonies knees when he played for England against egypt ..

With Michael Owen out for the season with a hamstring injury, Danny Welbeck out on loan at Preston and Federico Macheda only just returning from a lengthy spell out, Ferguson could be left with only Dimitar Berbatov and Mame Biram Diouf to take on Milan.

We are leading the tie and its a graet advantage that we are going to play at OT..

It is a fantastic chance for us to cruise to the next round..

Lets hope ROO gets his fitness back and plays wednesday..

Failing so Berba will have a huge responsibilty on his shoulders..

Players Ruled Out For Rest Of The Season

1. Michael Owen (England, manchester United) maybe WC too !!!
2. Bosingwa (Portugal,Chelaea) WC too!!!
3. Ashley Cole (England,Chelsea)
4. Michael Essien(Ghana,Chelsea)
5. Aaron Ramsey (Wales,arsenal)
6. Anderson (Brazil,Manchester United)
7. Van persie (Netherland,Arsenal)
8. O'shea (Roi,Manchester United)

OUT WHEN NEEDED MOST!!!

Owen out too !!!

What i didnt want to happen,

what i was praying not to happen,

Has happened..

My dear michael owen is out till the end of this exciting football season due to an hamstring injury which he suffered against aston villa in the carling cup finals just after equalising for us from the early set back which villa gave from a vidic penalty

Owen third united player to be ruled out of the season following o'shea earlier and anderson recently..

Is he out of WC ?

seems so.. :(

UNITED STARS FAVOURITE STARS

Sir Alex Ferguson - Denis Law

ALEX FERGUSON said: "Denis was my hero. I idolised him. When I first met him I was so excited. It was at a game in Paris, he had played in the first half and we went for a cup of tea afterwards. I thought, 'This is it, I've made it!'

"He epitomised everything a Scotsman is about. He was daring and courageous, he had that bravado about him and he had style. He was a truly fantastic footballer.

"Jonny Evans - Roy Keane

DEFENDER Jonny Evans said: "I reckon 80 per cent of young players who supported Manchester United when they were growing up would tell you that Roy Keane was their hero - just because of the way he was and the character he is.

"Keano was an awesome player - and an incredible leader.

"Gary Neville - Bryan Robson

CLUB skipper Gary Neville explained: "I always thought Bryan Robson was everything that a United player should be - and I still do.

"Even when I watch footage of him in action now, I always think of him giving everything for the cause. Blood, guts and thunder - with real class as well.

"John O'Shea - Paul McGrath

MIDFIELDER John O'Shea said: "Paul McGrath was a big favourite."He was as comfortable playing in midfield as he was at centre-back. It wasn't a problem to him. He was the versatile type.

"And not only did he have great ability he was also very calm on the ball. He was a special player.

"Ben Foster - Peter Schmeichel

KEEPER Ben Foster said: "Peter Schmeichel was a cut above the rest in his era and changed the face of goalkeeping.

"I still try to model myself on him and use aspects of his game in mine.

"He produced some truly unbelievable saves. I still watch them on YouTube.

"Anderson - RivaldoMIDFIELDER

Anderson goes for fellow Brazil playmaker Rivaldo.

He said: "His passing and his aggressive way of playing was great.

"I'm definitely a big admirer of his technique."

Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney - Maradona

DEFENDER Rio Ferdinand said: "My inspiration to play football was probably Diego Maradona.

"He's the first memory I have of someone doing something really great. I had all his videos and loved watching him.

"Midfielder Ryan Giggs added: "I always used to look out for left-footers and John Barnes and Maradona were always the ones that I looked up to when I was a kid.

"I remember Maradona in the 1986 World Cup. He was such a great player. That goal he scored against England - not the Hand of God goal - was absolutely amazing.

"Hitman Carlos Tevez added: "Maradona is the greatest player of all time. Diego, for all Argentinians, is God. And he always will be.

"I have a great relationship with Diego.

"My family also has a great relationship with his family and I have a really, genuinely warm bond with him.

"And fellow striker Wayne Rooney said: "My favourite player is Maradona.

"I've watched lots of videos of him in action and I just love the way he played.

"In my eyes, he's the best player of all time."

Dimitar Berbatov - Ivan Berbatov, Marco van Basten and Alan Shearer

STRIKER Dimitar Berbatov names a trio of heroes, Ivan Berbatov, Marco van Basten and Alan Shearer.

He said: "My father Ivan taught me so I've lots to thank him for. When you hear the other names you don't need to be told why they were great.

"Michael Carrick - Peter Beardsley, Gazza and Ian Wright

MIDFIELDER Michael Carrick selects Peter Beardsley, Gazza and Ian Wright.

He said: "I loved the way Beardo played the game. Gascoigne was an absolute genius."Wright I enjoyed watching more for his goal celebrations."

WHY WILL INDIA NEVER PRODUCE A RONALDO ???

1) "Ninety minutes are up, why are they still playing for 3 more minutes"??
That’s just for good luck, no big deal.
2) "What is offside? Anything related to cricket"?
Oh dear, you said the C-word.
3) "Koi goal kyon nahi maar raha hai?" (Why isn't anyone scoring?)
That's because there's a defence on both sides, dodo.
4) "Is Ronaldo playing?"
Yes, he plays for every single team in the whole wide world.
5) "Is Arsenal named after Arsene Wenger?"
Absolutely. They foresaw his managerial role at the club right from the late 1800s.
6) "Why don't Manchester United play in the World Cup?
"Please, don't make me thump you.
7) "Why did that defender just kick the ball aimlessly out of play into the stands?"Because he probably saw someone like you sitting there.
8) "He scored an own goal? What a horrible footballer!"
I wish you could imagine an own goal in any other way apart from a man walking the ball into the back of his own net.
9) "The penalty taker hit the ball to the left, so why did the goalkeeper dive to the right?"
Argh! Probably because he wanted to get out of the way.
10) "There's no Third Umpire?"
Just get out of my house.

THANKS TO ARUNALDO AND GOAL..

WE JUST CANT STOP WINNING

YUP.. WE JUST CANT STOP WINNING..

Manchester united beat aston villa at the wembley on sunday to gift us a great end to a great weekend..

We are the first to retain it after 20 years consicutively..

As expected rooney was rested even though he is despret to play..

owen and berba started..

VIDIC challenged AGBON which ended in a PENALTY in which MILNER SCORED.we where 1 down before 5 mins..but OWEN combined well with BERBA and EQUALISED superbly in the 13 th minute..i loved that goal..but at the 42 nd minute OWEN who went chasing a berba ball and tried to kick failed because of a hamstring and was replaced by ROONEY..It was 1-1 at HT..and as the game progressed valencia was continously creating chances .. he was a beauty yesterday..and not to be surprised ROONEY latched on to 1 of those opportunities and sent in a beautiful HEADER in the 74 th minute which eventually is our WINNER..

HE sent yet another header again but it hit the side post and was cleared.. it was nearly 3!!!

And after that though villa tried hard our defence where cautious that this time its not a penalty shoot win..

AND WHEN IT WAS FULL TIME,I JUMPED IN JOY...

I KNOW YOU DID TOO..

YES .. WE ARE THE WINNERS OF CARLING CUP AGAIN..

CUP RETAINED,HISTORY MADE!!!

1 MORE FEATHER TO OUR CROWN!!!

TROPHY ROOM FILLING UP!!!

FIRST OF 3 POSSIBLE 3 TROPHIES/TITLES IS OURS..

DONE..

AND WE HAVE GREAT CHANCES OF WINNING THE OTHER TWO TOO !!!

WE CAN WE WILL..

GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED..

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS..

HAIL SAF!!!

A HORROR TACKLE..

Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey had to suffer the brunt of a Shawcross tackle in what was a physical battle Arsenal had to contend with against Stoke City. Now there are various versions of the story with many Arsenal fans citing that it’s their team being targeted by every opponent for such challenges. To be physical is a tactic deployed by many managers against the Gunners as they feel that the latter are susceptible to it. The incident was an unfortunate one and is part of the contact sport football is. It will be difficult for anyone (the authorities) to come up with any rule to stop such tackles as its part and parcel of the game. However, one does feel for 19 year old Ramsey, who is undoubtedly one of the most promising layers in the Premier League circuit.-reads goal..
I Was watching that match and couldnt believe what has happened really..
Its really horrible..
I cant control my tears and i dropped 4.!!!
I wish him all the best and i pray for him..
I hope u pray for him too !!!

ROONEY VS RONALDO

Ronaldo & Rooney: how do they compare?

Tyler's Starting Stat - A record for Rooney
I was at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday where Wayne Rooney scored his landmark 100th Premier League goal. But the strike was also notable because it took him past Cristiano Ronaldo in Manchester United's all-time goalscoring charts. Rooney now has 119 United goals in all competitions, compared to Ronaldo's 118. What's more, Rooney did it in 24 fewer games (he has played 268 compared to Ronaldo's 292). Rooney has also overtaken Ronaldo's Premier League record for the club. He now has 85 goals in 180 league games for United, overtaking the 84 scored by Ronaldo in his 196 appearances.
Looking at Rooney's Premier League century (including his 15 for Everton), I can tell you only four of Rooney's 100 goals came from penalties with a further 87 coming from inside the area and nine coming from outside. Out of interest, 80 were scored with his right foot, 15 with his left and five were headers - although as he has scored with his head in his last two games at old Trafford that is clearly an area of his game which is getting better!

REMEMBERING THE HEROS

On 6 February 1958, a charter plane carrying 44 people crashed after refuelling at Munich Airport.

The accident claimed 23 lives, among them eight Manchester United players and three club officials.

We hope these pages are a fitting tribute to the young United side many believe would have gone on to dominate European football - the Busby Babes. We will never forget.
UNITED WILL RISE AGAIN-HAROLD HARDMAN(chairman)
And we have..

The men we lost at munich
The Munich air disaster on 6 February 1958 claimed the lives of 23 passengers and crew. Here, we remember the eight United players and three officials who died, through the words of those who knew them best.

Roger Byrne - aged 28, full-back. 277 appearances, 19 goals, 33 England caps."An aristocratic footballer, majestic in his movement. Roger was so fast but at the same time he controlled his movement beautifully, like Nureyev." - Sir Matt Busby

Geoff Bent - aged 25, full-back. 12 appearances."When Geoff matured and reached his twenties there were many clubs after him but he stayed loyal. He could look after himself and was a great tackler. Roger Byrne was a consistent player and very brave, that was the reason Geoff got so few games, but he was good enough to hold a regular place in any team." - Jimmy Murphy

Eddie Colman - aged 21, half-back. 107 appearances, 2 goals."Eddie was a chirpy lad and a terrific player. He pushed the ball - never kicked it - and he jinked past players. He was known for his swivel hips." - Wilf McGuinness

David Pegg - aged 22, forward, 148 appearances, 28 goals, 1 England cap."David would have been a great asset to any team because he was a natural, left-flank player. David was very, very clever. Our best left-winger by a mile." - Sir Matt Busby

Mark Jones - aged 24, half-back, 120 appearances, 1 goal. "Yorkshireman Mark was a really lovely fellow, but my word he was a tough
nut, and nobody took any liberties with him on or off the field." - Bill Foulkes

Duncan Edwards - aged 21, half-back, 175 apps., 21 goals, 18 England caps, 5 goals."When I used to hear Muhammad Ali proclaim to the world he was the greatest, I used to smile. The greatest of them all was a footballer named Duncan Edwards." - Jimmy Murphy"The only player who ever made me feel inferior." - Sir Bobby Charlton

Tommy Taylor - aged 26, forward, 189 apps., 128 goals, 19 England caps, 16 goals"I rate him as one of the all-time, best centre-forwards in the game, and he had yet to realise all his potential. He was a typically bluff Yorkshireman in many ways, often acting the clown, and a great team man." - Bill Foulkes

Liam 'Billy' Whelan - aged 22, forward, 96 apps., 52 goals, 4 Republic of Ireland caps"Billy was a magician with a ball at his feet. I really don't think he knew how good he was and how much better he could have become. A world-class forward. There is no doubt about that. His vision and passing was sheer class." - Albert ScanlonWalter Crickmer, club secretary / Tom Curry, trainer / Bert Whalley, coach"Walter Crickmer always reminded me of a little dynamo, nothing was too much trouble. Tom Curry, the trainer, was someone we looked up to like a father. And Bert Whalley was certainly a tremendous help to me when I was a part-timer." - Bill Foulkes

Today we are in the 52 nd year of that disaster..
Today is the day of the MUNICH DISASTER that the red devils faced 52 years back..
Feb 6 th 1958 3.02 pm.. The flight crashed, the flowers burned, as did united said people of that time including experts, pundits etc..

But, nothing can stop united from winning proved the devils.

3 SHOTS-1 WIN-1 UNITED..UTD'S BEST WEEK EVER!!!

We United marching towards our 19 th successful EPL title..

A win for us yesterday against the gunners in their home is a true statement of how strong we are in defending our title..

Goals from ,

NANI-33(SCORE SHEET RED OG ALMUNIA) BUT IT WAS NANI'S..HE DESERVED IT

Rooney with a united counter attack,he long passed it to nani who took it marching to the right corner, and rooney marched faster than him to collect it and trash it to register his 100th premier league goal..Hail Rooney..

Then in second half 7 minutes after the start park counter attacked and he netted it himself which sealed th game..parks first bpl goal this season..

At 80 mins a vermelaen volley gave arsenal a consolation..but it was never enough for the gunners to defeat the champions..

From a preview :

Why Arsenal Will Beat Manchester United?

a) Arsenal have lost just a single game at home this season, winning nine and sharing points on an occasion.

b) Manchester United’s away record isn’t the best with four defeats, one draw and six victories.

c) Arsenal have scored the maximum number of goals in the Premier League – 59 and goals win matches.

d) In the last match played last year, Manchester United had to rely on a penalty and own goal to win against Arsenal.

e) Arsenal have played much more attacking football than Manchester United this season.

.f) Manchester United are a one-man team as Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti said. Arsenal win games even when Fabregas is not there..

All these gunners dreams went in vain..

Line up :

UTD : We all knew rio cant play..but only when match was about to start we knew that vidic too is not fit !!!

And to alls surprise nani was to start again !!

ARS : verma got ready to play as did song who joined them after African cup of nations..

sol campell who was expected to start was not even in bench!!

Both clubs starting with a 4-3-2-1 formation.

Going deep into the game,1 should never say arsenal were poor.. arsenal had chances, but some good utd defense and some selfishness made it a misery for them..

Arsha had 3 clear chances..all 3 he took himself and shot himself wide..

Nasri was near him in a position to score, but arsha never passed to him and tried himself and wasted the chances..

Cesc as usual tried his best but was not a big threat yesterday..

As was verma..they had defenders, but thier defenders had no co-ordination..they were running all over the place..

when rooney and park scored the defenders were nowhere!!!

And nani was exceptional yesterday..

Man of the match: Nani. Looked like the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo's crown United hoped he would be.

Goal of the match: United's counter which led to Wayne Rooney's goal was exquisite. Arsenal had no answer to the pace of Nani and Rooney finished in style.

Moment of the match: Andrey Arshavin was left to rue a number of missed opportunities early on, as the game could have been so different had Arsenal edged in front.

Talking point: Are Arsenal's hopes of taking the title over for another season? Are United capable of dislodging Chelsea at the summit?

I dont think any 1 any more will open their mouth to say-UNITED ARE MISSING RONALDO..

NANI : my best game with united ever..nani deserved the mom..he was awesome..

SAF: he is maturing, yes this is his best game ever.. arsenal arent a easy team to beat especially at emirates..am very happy..

credit to saf for starting nani instead of valencia..(this is what u call experience)

WENGER-Our defence was very poor which cost us the game..

Is this a hurt for wenger ?? in the sense maybe i should have added a striker not in this match but to arsenal itself in this window ?

wenger still refused to sign any 1 when asked will he ?

Arsene Wenger had no answer to this approach and any team that concedes six goals to their direct rivals at home cannot be considered championship winning material.

The consolation volley by verma postponed VDS's 100th clean sheet..

TO conclude this week for us can be considered as our best week, trashing cross town rivals to book tickets to wembley and now sending a statement to the world WHY UNITED ARE CALLED CHAMPIONS..

WE united are now just 1 point down of chelsea, which is not at all a bad place to be,considering the matches to come..

In febraury we face :

POMPEY at OT on 6th (sat)

VIllA away on 10th (wed)

MILAN away on 16 th (tue)

EVERTON away on 20th(sat)

Then finally the final of carling cup on the last day of feb..28 th at wembley its ASTON VILLA VS MAN UTD..

United to play 4 away matches in this month and lets see how we defend our BPL,CARLING and try to become europe champions too!!!

GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED!!!

pevious to that it was a draw at ot to cl;aim the epl title last season.

current status : most recent form :

united beat city 3-1 , 3 days back to seal their place in wembley..

the same day arsenal drew to villa 0-0

missing players :

united will miss their main defender rio ferdinand as he faces fa ban..he is going to appeal but cant help him play with arsenal tomorrow it seems.

arsenals defender vermalen is injured (feared to be a broken leg) will miss

as does eduardo (dudu) ..

key players :

for united rooney who is in a terrific run will be 1 to keep our eyes on

fletcher will play a key role-saf

as usual fabregas will have to be watched out

arsha will make a difference-wenger

note : both teams missing their key defenders ..

war of words :
we have to beat united-cesc..
don’t look united as a one man team-rooney
biggest game of the season-saf
campell will control rooney-wenger
wenger is thinking bad about Fletcher-saf
arsha will make the difference-wenger

out of box :
chelsea will be hoping for a draw so that these two racers dont fight with them..

goal . com reports this clash is the 1 which is going to divide INDIA..

yes.. both clubs having thousands of fans all over india..

voting results :
goal reports :
united : 43 %
arsenal : 45 :

espn says :
Manchester United take on Arsenal this Sunday. Who do you think will prevail?
58.67%Manchester United
The Red Devils will crush the Gunners as part of their title run.
29.4%Arsenal
Arsene Wenger's men will gun down Sir Alex Ferguson's charges!

both votings closed..

There are a lot of things that make both Arsenal and Manchester United similar to one another. Two big English powerhouses with an illustrious history, a large and loyal fanbase, attractive, attacking football, two managers who are already legends in their field, the list can go on.But it's one fixture that divides India like no other club tie in the world.

with both clubs with a win tomorrow will top the table,we can surely expect a thriller at emirates..

i have tried my best here to preview the game..

i might have missed some points ratings etc..

i am new so pls dont mind it and comment the points which u feel i could have added..

lets enjoy..

WHY WE DONT USE THE TERM MANU ??

ManU is not a term United fans refer to themselves as. The term is only used by other supporters as a complete and utter insult to our club. The "u" is meant to be "you" by the rival fans.An early example of its usage is this chant by West Brom fans: "Duncan Edwards is manure, rotting in his grave, man you are manure- rotting in your grave". The origin of "ManU" is a song to insult the dead Duncan Edwards.Liverpool and Leeds fans copied this with their own man you /u versions to insult all of the lads who died at munich."ManU ManU went on a plane ManU ManU never came back again"and.."ManU Never Intended Coming Home" (if you combine the first letter of each word you get the word "Munich").I hope this makes it clearer that saying manU is an insult, particularly to the older supporters and to see United fans using it now is shameful. I hope a few might read this, understand and spread the word.So... Please REFRAIN from using this term ever again!!!!!

SO RED DEVILS ,
DONT USE THE TERM MANU..
USE MAN UTD OR UTD..
GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!!!

MAN UTD-BEFORE 22-01-10 AND AFTER 22-01-10.. (SATURDAY)

HI RED DEVILS.. I THOT OF POSTING ALL THESE WRITTEN HERE ON FRIDAY.. BUT SUDDEN DIS-CONNECTION OF NET MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO POST..

1. Our debts have increased to 716 m’ dollars (increased 17 from 699)
2. Currently Third in the table. Chelsea have a game in hand.
3. O’shea who can play all over the place anywhere in any position for us in the ground is out for the season
4. Trailing against shites in carling cup semis...2-1 in aggregate.
5. Out of FA (WTF)
6. Stupid rumors distracting our minds (EX-ROONEY TO BE SOLD TO BARCA COZ OF THESE DEBTS)
7. Still our defence is not complete.. (VIDIC AND RIO)

SO WE RED DEVILS HAVE TO OVER COME ALL THESE PROBLEMS AND HAVE TO WIN THE LEAGUE AND ALSO CARLING CUP..

CAN WE ???

YES WE CAN..

Y NOT ??

FOR OUR GOD SAF THIS AND ALL A PART OF HIS VAST 23 YEARS EXPERIENCE..

IN SAF WE BELIEVE..

NEVER QUIT

When things go wrong, as they some times will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and debts are high,
And instead of a smile you have a sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest in God's love and NEVER QUIT ..

Life can be strange with its twists and turns,
And many a failed man has turned away,
When with God's help he'd won the day..

Dont give up though the pace seems slow-

For you may succeed with another go-

Susess is failure turned inside out,

The silver glint in the cloud of doubt,

You never can tell how close you are-

The Goal maybe near when it seems so far..

So turn the lord When you're hardest hit

Put your trust in him and NEVER QUIT.....

WHEN EVER U FEEL ASHAMED, DISSAPOINTED, WEXED, SAD OR U FEEL U ARE LOST/LOSING SOMETHING, DO READ THIS.. I HOPE THIS MAY MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER.. BEST WISHES FOR THE LOSERS TO BECOME WINNERS..
